Here, Cole trains with experienced warriors Liu Kang (Ludi Lin), Kung Lao (Max Huang) and rogue mercenary Kano (Josh Lawson), as he prepares to stand with Earth’s greatest champions against the enemies from Outworld in a high stakes battle for the universe. Soon, he finds himself at the temple of Lord Raiden (Tadanobu Asano), an Elder God and the protector of Earthrealm, who grants sanctuary to those who bear the mark. He is also recruited by Jax Briggs and Sonya Blade into the Earthrealm warriors. Fearing for his family’s safety, Cole goes in search of Sonya Blade (Jessica McNamee) at the direction of Jax (Mehcad Brooks), a Special Forces Major who bears the same strange dragon marking Cole was born with. Cole Young is an unfortunate MMA fighter who was born with a Dragon Mark on his chest. The recent Mortal Kombat film starred new kharacter Cole Young, and theres speculation that he may come to the games. MMA fighter Cole Young (Lewis Tan), accustomed to taking a beating for money, is unaware of his heritage-or why Outworld’s Sorcerer Shang Tsung (Chin Han) has sent his best warrior, Sub-Zero (Joe Taslim), an otherworldly Cryomancer, to hunt him down. Notable omissions from the roster include Reptile, Smoke, Cyrax, Sektor, Ermac, Jin, and Takeda - and those are just some of the most asked-for characters. Cole's signature weapon from the movie, a tonfa, is similar to the Kobu Jutsu carried by fan-favorite character Tanya, and while they aren’t the same weapon, their similarity would make it doubtful that both would be included in a future game - and the fans seem clear about which Mortal Kombat character they’d prefer.To mark the release of Mortal Kombat, out now, we’ve been given 1 copy to give away on Blu-ray. For every character who made it into the roster for Mortal Kombat 11, there is at least one that didn’t make the cut who fans miss very much. There’s not much call in the community for a Cole Young addition to the Mortal Kombat games. Without it, he’s just some jobbing MMA fighter who happens to be related to Scorpion, and that’s not very interesting when one can actually play Scorpion (who’s not likely to be removed from the roster as long as Ed Boon draws breath).

While the movie gives Cole’s family and backstory a lot of attention, he would most likely not get such preferential treatment in the game. Second, lacking motivation, Cole has no distinguishing features compared with the other characters in the game.
